9Cr18Mo steel is China GB standard martensitic stainless steel. Equals 102Cr17Mo. After quenching, it has high hardness and wear resistance and high dimensional stability. The properties and uses of 9Cr18Mo are basically the same as those of 9Cr18 steel. But after quenching, it has higher hardness and anti-tempering stability. Molybdenum can increase the passivation effect of stainless steel.

Material Brinell hardness: ≤269 HBW (steel bar after annealing)
Heat Treatment Specification:
1、Annealing temperature of steel bars: 800-900℃ (Slow cooling)
2、Quenching temperature: 1000-1050℃ (Oil cooling)
3、Tempering temperature: 200-300℃ (Air cooling or Oil cooling)

Application
1. 9Cr18Mo high carbon chromium stainless steel Application: Suitable for manufacturing bearings in seawater, river water, nitric acid, steam, marine. Such as bearings in ships, submersible pump components, bearings in petroleum and chemical machinery, marine instrument bearings.
2. 9Cr18Mo steel is suitable for good corrosion resistance (magnetic) tableware (knife), turbine blades. After quenching, the hardness is higher than that of 440A steel (magnetic). Such as blade, nozzle, valve, plate ruler, tableware (scissors) ).
